ERGO is an Italian company founded in 2007, grounded
on a robust experience spanning many years in this
technical field, specialising in design, development and
production of air-conditioning systems, particularly
focused on Heat Pump technology.
Technological evolution has, in fact, made more
engineering systems available. Heat Pumps are today
one of the most resourceful and effective engineering
systems when it comes to energy efficiency. However,
their distribution is often limited by the negative
architectural impact of external units on the surrounding
environment, especially where elements of architectural
or historical relevance are present.
In this field, ERGO’s innovative vocation and technical
expertise have developed new construction concepts for
external units of systems and new proposals, such as
the HTE line, which aim to reduce the aesthetic impact
on the surrounding environment, favouring architectural
and environmental integration, with specific attention to residential, commercial and tourist locations and, in
particular, historic town centres.
All outdoor units designed and manufactured by ERGO
use patented solutions and the respective designs are
registered at the European Union Intellectual Property
Office.
The architecturally integrated heat pump is, therefore,
our most representative and iconic product. However,
ERGO’s aptitude in generating ideas and solutions to
specific problems is also confirmed by the numerous
projects developed on behalf of and in collaboration with
Italian and international companies, always based on
the same technology.
This is just a brief summary of what ERGO is able to
realise in the air-conditioning sector, bringing important
innovations not only in product design, but also in the
technical and technological aspects with a fully Made in
Italy production line.

Round external unit walnut wood of heat pump ERGO
One of the main features of the heat pump HTE line is
the DESIGN, which is innovative and exclusive. The ease
of integration is also favoured by the aesthetic variants
available: the anodised aluminium slats that make up
the casing of the external unit can be silver-coloured
or wood effect (with different finishes to choose from
depending on the architectural context where the unit is
installed). Likewise the base of the outdoor unit made of
spheroidal cast iron can be supplied in different colours
and finishes.
Synthetic floral arrangements, such as boxwood
spheres, can make the outdoor unit of the heat pump
seem more and more like a planter. We can, therefore,
install the external unit of our heat pump in any outdoor
space (garden, terrace, etc.) of a single or multi-family
dwelling, as well as in a historic town centre or village
(subject to approval by the relevant authorities).
All solutions offered by ERGO are patented and the
respective designs are registered at the European Union
Intellectual Property Office. We are, therefore, the ONLY
ones on the Italian national and international market
with this type of product.
