The AZ mission is to design and build machines based on customers needs and solve particular grinding problems of complex workpiece form.
AZ’s story started in 1953 under the name Zanrosso in the field of automotive aftersales service with the production of lathes for brake drums and discs for vehicles. In 1976, Tecnodue Company was created and its speciality was in garage equipment such as two-post lifts and gas analysers. Year by year the products improved until they became a worldwide leader in machine tools for engine rebuilding, marine engines and railway engines. In the next several years AZ grew as a leader in the production of crankshaft grinding machines of up to 14 meters in length for the energy, locomotive and marine fields. AZ has sold over 3000 crankshaft and roll grinders all over the world and this permits AZ to be called ‘A Crankshaft Specialist’. In 2006 there came a new challenge. With the experience that AZ had achieved they entered the market of speciality grinding machines made especially for aerospace. Now, AZ’s goal is to solve grinding’s particular problems by providing the customer with a tailor-made machine specific to their needs. AZ spa is a company with quality system ISO9001 certified by DNV GL. The large quantity of qualified and loyal customers and AZ’s presence in more than 90 countries all over the world shows its proven success.

DB Heavy duty Crankshaft grinding machine
DB machines are designed to grind large crankshafts.
The DB strong structure provides capability of grinding
workpieces in lengths of up to 14000 mm and weights
up to 25 Ton. The orbital system permits to increased the
accuracy of the crankshafts geometry.
RU CNC Universal grinding machines
AZ RU universal grinding machines are high
performance machines designed for customers
who have to work with high precision tolerances.
Constructive features are projected to ensure
maximum machine stability during all the process
phases. Thanks to a wide combination of wheelhead
spindles, different types of machining can be
integrated in a single clamping: external, internal,
shoulder, face, taper grinding, complex profiles
and threads. The grinding process is constantly
monitored thanks to high-level and last-generation
measurement and controls systems. The RU
