Floema comes from the Greek word Floios which means bark. The company was born as a manufacturer of wooden furniture about fifty years ago and then evolved through the processing of new materials and finishes for furniture solutions that have allowed it to grow and reach the market world.
Floema is the first Italian brand of integral furniture that produces rooms, doors, panels, and furnishing accessories that focus on innovation and tradition. Based on a multi-generational history, innovation is the fundamental driver that has allowed us to compete globally in researching new materials and modern designs. Only valuable materials from our tradition are rediscovered and worked on daily by young and creative designers: the goal is to combine the excellent artisan quality with cutting-edge ideas that they aim in particular at environmental sustainability.
The recipient of Floema's work remains multiple, as we turn to retail, producing all sides of furniture, doors, and other accessories such as curtains, fragrances, and lamps, as well as to the professional world, designing and managing complex contract furniture projects.

The interest in noise pollution allowed Floema Panels to conceive and develop the Phonotamburato: a structural-acoustic panel that is capable of both absorbing and insulating noise. Its use is manifold, from false ceilings to wainscoting on doors and dividing elements. Floema Doors offers high-end doors, all produced in Phonotamburato to allow thermal and acoustic insulation. The solutions range from hinged doors to sliding doors, flush doors and doors for special rooms such as hospitals and offices; they are all heat insulating and can be sound insulating or sound absorbers according to the request. The designs available are many, from most classic to the most modern, with fine finishes and innovative techniques such as manufacturing through digital printing.
