Barbera d’Asti La Moretta embodies our modern style to produce Barbera, vinied in steel tank. Fruity, elegant and easy-to-drink, it’s a perfect red wine to enjoy at any time. It pairs very well different type of food.

La Rossa (meaning “the red one”) is an Italian synonymous of Barbera because evokes its intense red colour. The grapes are selected from the best vineyards located in Monferrato-Asti area. The wine ages in wooden casks for at least 7/8 months. La Rossa is a complex red wine, ideal for hearty meals.

The new designation Nizza DOCG is recognized as the summit of the appellations of Barbera grapes in Piedmont. Nizza’s production is restricted to selected vineyards around the Nizza Monferrato village. These vineyards benet from great exposures (from south-east to south-west) and very low yield (7 tons/hectare). The result is a complex and intense wine with an extraordinary potential for ageing. Nizza San Luigi is the icon wine of our estate and our best interpretation of Barbera. It’s named after our founder Luigi Aresca who always believed in the potential of this great grape variety. Nizza San Luigi ages for 12 months in barrel and for at least 6 months in bottle before sale.

Barolo is the icon of Piedmont wines. Our Barolo is produced according to tradition with long maceration and maturation in big wooden casks. A Barolo to age in cellar but also great to drink when released.

Gavi is a famous white wine DOCG zone in Piedmont. The grapes come from vineyards in the area of Gavi village, where this vine is traditionally grown. The typical pale yellow colour has green hints, the bouquet and taste are pleasant and fresh. Outstanding with any fish-based dishes. It’s best enjoyed young.
