Iotti Hydraulic Cylinders was set up in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and it has been dealing with the production of hydraulic cylinders for different industrial applications and branches for over 50 years. The company can offer its customers the best technological and qualitative solutions thanks to the precision of its manufactured cylinders.
The company, which has currently a predominant leading role in the production and sales of Hydraulic Cylinders and Actuators in the European market, was founded by Giovanni Iotti as a mechanical workshop next to his home, in 1963. Since then the company has been growing steadily and the manufacturing of cylinders has progressively succeeded as a core business.
Just looking back at the company history, the long list of successes which have been constantly accomplished so far, is strikingly evident.
In 1982 the company started a large-scale production of hydraulic pistons for forklift trucks and mobile plant machineries following the expansion into new headquarters.
After few years the company began to include the production of massive hydraulic cylinders and it got more and more experienced in productive sectors such as the heavy materials handling (truck cranes) or waste balers.
Hydraulic Cylinders has been operating in the large-scale production of big dimension hydraulic pistons since the 90s and it has been targeting different production segments: hydraulic cylinders, bending pressing machines, trucks, port cranes, hydraulic power-assisted steering.
In 2009 the company was certified with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification, adapted to 2015 edition.
Today the company boasts a top organized structure thanks to a 5000 square meter factory, which is operating with production workshops and technologically advanced machinery.
Our 42 employees and a carefully structured human resources organization allow Iotti HC to satisfy every customers’ needs by offering a wide and innovative range of cylinders as well as other hydraulic products which can be used in different applications.

CERTIFICATION ISO 9001:2015 - Quality: our strong point. One of the strong points of the IOTTI Hydraulic Cylinder is quality. Already since 1997 we obtained the certification ISO9001, adapted in 2015 edition.
CERTIFICATION ISO 3834-2:2005 - To complete the certification of the company quality system our society has the certificate of the procedure of welding, welding licences of our operators and certification of the product.

KNUCKLE BOOM CYLINDERS
Knuckle Boom Cylinders: compact and solid, produced to support radial loads in knuckle boom swing of the most massive harbour cranes and in those set up on off-shore platforms.
Knuckle boom cylinders are designed to avoid corrosion due to the working environments and to support workloads.
For this type of cylinders, the rods are processed with a special coating to guarantee the best resistance both of the cylinder and its seals.
In addition, the external painting treatments and zinc-coating of the products allow them to be protected from corrosion.
Knuckle Boom Cylinders can be customized to comply with specific uses or needs.
It is possible to have both single and double acting knuckle boom cylinders manufactured. They can be completed with control valve block together with a stroke position sensing system.
