Fumeo Carlo was founded in 1932 as a pure silk hosiery by Ernesto Fumeo and his younger brother Carlo, from whom the company takes its name. In 1933 Carlo Fumeo was sent to Germany to buy new looms and he noticed one for the creation of knitted silk ties.
Production of precious ties began and a few years later, in 1940, the company already exported the elegance of Made in Italy all over the world.
Since then, Carlo Fumeo has been able to renew itself in the wake of its artisan tradition and has always grown, designing and producing fabric accessories for the major luxury brands in the world.
Over the years we have been able to renew ourselves in the tradition of craftsmanship, becoming not just a supplier, albeit of excellence, but a strategic partner of the most famous Italian and international fashion houses.
Until then, the entrepreneurial spirit and the courage to pass on a precious heritage pushed the new generation to make the historicity of Fumeo Carlo a brand. The grandchildren of the founders create a new beginning, dictate change.
