Everything we do stems from an emotion! That is why it is important to cultivate our inner world from an early age, teaching children the meaning of emotions and how to contextualise them in everyday life.
You might ask: how can we teach emotions? The Language of Emotions contains a collection of 48 stories from everyday life, each featuring a shade of the six universal emotions: anger, fear, happiness, disgust, surprise and sadness. By teaching our child to recognise and name their emotions, we help them to “read reality” more accurately and to react in a more balanced and positive way. We will also teach them to respond appropriately to the emotions expressed by their communication partner. Being aware of emotions helps children to develop a healthy mental, relational and behavioural balance.

As we grow up, we learn that the world is not all black and white, just as our emotions go far beyond being sad or happy. There is a whole universe of shades that allows us to describe the world in all its complexity. Giving our children the tools they need to understand their emotions and learn to share their feelings with awareness also means helping them to build healthy, balanced relationships. Thanks to the illustrated cards with their fun characters, your child will be able to recognise 48 different emotions from the earliest years of their life… including our amazement!

In addition to the classic benefits of a book, the Storymaker allows you to clearly visualise the main components of a story. It is a game made up of four puzzles and endless combinations. Each puzzle tile contains one of the key elements of the story: the main character, the setting, the time in which it takes place, the actions that the characters perform. The only limit is your imagination! Through this game inspired by the work of Gianni Rodari, from pre-school age onwards, your child will be able to exercise their storytelling skills, develop their imagination and approach the world of reading and, starting from fairytales and imaginary worlds, they will learn to talk about themselves and their own inner world.

We tend to think that reading and writing must be learnt at the same time, but in actual fact a child can learn to read as early as the age of 2. Their visual perception develops long before the manual dexterity needed for learning to write. Thanks to the 80 words contained in the kit, your child will start reading independently… Leaving you speechless!

Recent studies have shown that… many people don’t know their geography! This is because we tend to perceive it as a useless and boring subject, made up of names and lists to be learnt by heart… but this is not the case! In reality, geography is an important subject for understanding the phenomena that surround us, offering us a general view of the world and helping us to understand it, to think globally and comprehensively. That’s why QUID+ has created a product to introduce your child to this subject from an early age. Thanks to the simple playing cards and the fantastic inflatable globe, you will be able to increase your child’s spirit of observation, their ability to associate and their curiosity… all while having fun!
