DOLOMITI FRIULANE, the voice of silence

Friulian Dolomites, the voices of silence is a spiritual journey, through images and emotions, crossing the valleys, climbing the slopes and climbing to the highest peaks of the wonderful Friulian Dolomites. These mountains are a "separate world" that only in recent times are still waiting to be discovered, lived and internalized in its most secret and evocative expressions.
Ours is a unique mental and emotional adventure that will allow us to grasp the beauty and richness of the face and living soul of these mountains. At the same time, however, it will also allow us to immerse ourselves in the splendor of the images of the photographer Luciano Gaudenzio that celebrate the beauty of these mountains, made of light colors and ancestral silences.

The shapes, shaped by evolution, are presented in an indescribable variety of functional solutions.
The anthropomorphic masks of apparently monstrous but incredibly fascinating beings.
Life and death, closely linked: the investment of the species on its own future, also through the sacrifice of the individual, in favor of the community; parental care of certain parents.
Predation universal rule of the world of nature, eating and being eaten.

Early snow

The months are a joke of man, an invention. The nature, she makes a rosary of the days that we take away from our calendars. There are only two seasons, one where the flowers and the trees grow, and the other where the nature seems attentive, with a resignation often quiet, sometimes furious.
It is of this moment, the same that we too often accuse of being a bad season. "Early snow" tells us when the time of falling leaves comes, the fog disappears, the frost that captures, about the biting cold, the frozen wind and the falling snow. This book is a photographic tribute to the eternal story of autumn and winter.
