The new 959NINEFIVENINE eco-design collection recycles seat belts from decommissioned vehicles, combined with innovative and completely sustainable fabrics. A versatile concept which, through the brand's name, fully expresses the project's core values: respect and sensitivity towards people, inextricably linked to a profound regard for the environment.
Each piece in the collection is Made in Italy: after an initial washing and sanitizing process, the seat belts from abandoned car wreckers are sorted by their patterns, hand-cut, assembled, and sewn in expert artisan workshops.
Driven by a continuous commitment to eco-stylistic innovation, the brand has expanded its research to include materials derived from apple, orange, and pineapple waste, opening new possibilities within a potentially infinite cycle of reuse.
Today, 959NINEFIVENINE offers a unique series of objects characterized by a distinctive, essential, timeless, and genderless design, represented by iconic accessories such as bags available in weekender, backpack, camera bag, shopping, tote, and working bag models.
