Its personnel include experienced geophysicists with a broad background, acquired through professional and research works accomplished worldwide. The mission of the company is the provision of high-quality consultancies and services. A constant professional update guarantees the application of state-of-art methods. The company is also devoted to carry out applied geophysical research, as witnessed by many publications disclosed
by international scientific conferences and papers. Since 2010 Tellus-Explora’s work has been fundamental for the exploration of complex geological settings.
From then, the company has increasingly reached international visibility, carrying out studies over Asian/Pacific, African and South-American prospects.

We are deeply involved in interpretation of geothermal fields though geophysical methods. This picture shows a 2D geological model of a geothermal field and a 3D magnetotelluric model describing the resistivity distribution at another geothermal field. The models have been used for geothermal conceptual modelling and subsequent drill siting.

We commnly deal with magnetotellurics, Gravity, Magnetics,Geoelectrics, TDEM, DC data. We perform 1/2/3D smooth modelling and focused modelling.

We define the geophysical survey specifications according to the geological target, perform the on-field Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
We accomplish the preliminary on-site reporting and interpretation.



We provide in-depth geophysical training, either office and on site, for non-sesimic tecnhiques such as: electromagnetic (Magnetotellurics, TDEM), Potential Field (Gravity, Magnetics) and DC (VES, ERT). We worked with GSE (Geological Survey of Ethiopia), TGDC (Tanzania Geothermal Development Company), Mineral Resources Department of Fiji (MRD).
