MIB S.R.L. SOCIETÀ BENEFIT (MIB 4.0) designs and manufactures customised production lines and automation solutions as well as standardised machines for static and low cycle fatigue (LCF) testing – e.g. our MAS2-S, a machine specifically tailored to test medical implants and orthopaedic prostheses. We were born as a network of companies who have been in business since the 1950s in the Emilia Romagna Region, thus our competitiveness is based on:

Within MIB4.0 a group of engineers, technicians, designer in close partnership with the operative areas allow to offer a 360° service in order to give the Costumer a single point of reference (One-Stop Shop).

STANDARD MACHINES - MAS2-S: Machines for Static and Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) Testing
MAS 2-S, our testing system for medical implants and prostheses.
An innovative and sophisticated testing system:
MAS 2-S, MIB Multiaxial Simulator, is specifically tailored to test medical implants and orthopaedic prostheses, unlike all other existing machines, which are multifunctional and not suitable for the aforementioned tests due to their redundant architecture, composed of more than three axes. MAS 2-S has 2 axes, which test axial load and torsion.
Electric actuation and its several advantages:
MAS 2-S has electric actuators instead of hydraulic actuators. Electric actuators offer significant advantages.
Firstly, they allow to perform more accurate measurements and require less mechanical maintenance.
Secondly, thanks to the use of this technology, there is no fluid leakage. Thus, the production department is cleaner.
Thirdly, unlike any other existing simulator, this machine does not need any refrigeration system. As a result, it is smaller and easier to install.
A wide angle of view:
Lastly, the angle of view of MAS 2-S is far wider than that of any other existing machine. More precisely, it is 180 °. This allows to view the sample from any side.
