The wide range of injection moulding machines for thermoplastics i ncludes machines with double toggle clamping system and closing forces from 50 to 3200 tons, and machines with two-platen clamping system from 650 to 2300 tons.

The technological research for the improvement of traditional hydraulic systems has led to the development of a special servo-pump reducing between 30 % and 60% of t he energy used, compared to traditional systems without a servo-pump. Multipower SP combines high performance a nd energy saving with low costs, reliability over time, and the simplification of routine maintenance operations.

The servo-driven SP system allows for hydraulic moulding m achines operations to be particularly energy-efficient.
The hydraulic system of Multipower SP is simple, and e nsures high reliability over time.

The SP system with servo-pump is based on the use of a n electric brushless motor with permanent magnets connected to a high performance gear pump.

The variable speed servo motor control driver adjusts the pressure and the flow parameters of the hydraulic system to obtain the right amount of oil for each movement.
The system adapts continuously to the actual power demand, drastically reducing energy consumption.
The partialization of power used allows for the total shutdown of the engine in the “static phases” of the production cycle.

This results in energy savings up to 60%, especially in processes with long cooling times.
Thanks to the high efficiency of the system, hydraulic system c ooling is also optimally managed, avoiding overheating of t he oil. Extremely low noise level.



Fast and precise electrical movements are combined with the reliability and the power of the hydraulic systems, for highly competitive performance, and considerable energy savings.

For plasticization, screw rotation movement is operated by a directly connected brushless electric motor, without the use of belt or gear reductions.

The use of accumulators for a precise and high-speed injection fully satisfies even the most sophisticated moulding needs.
The particular concept of these accumulators allows for c onsiderable energy savings: a pump system with dedicated i nverter recharges the accumulators only up to the pressure level set by the moulding needs, and the shuts off, reducing e nergy consumption to the minimum.
The clamp unit is characterized by a 5-point toggle, while the movement is regulated by a high-performance hydraulic piston suitable for very fast cycles.

Intelligent software, thanks to three integrated options: ECO, NORMAL, FAST . The three functions make the most out of the potential hydraulic and electrical systems combination, in order to achieve the best speed performance and the highest energy saving, whatever moulding conditions are.

Multipower H also provides a special set-up for packaging moulding, with an increase in power dedicated to the mould opening / closing unit and to ejection and injection, for speed a nd moulding performance at the highest levels.

Multipower H is suitable for use in a clean room: thanks to the installation of recirculating ball guides for the slide of the m oving platen, the perfect cleaning and preservation of the m ould area is guaranteed, by the total absence of lubrication o n the tie bars.



Multipower HE is a hybrid machine with injection operated by accumulators, for best speed performance. It is suitable for thin-walled products moulding.

The toggle opening/closing system is completely electric and consists of a ball screw, or satellite roller screw, whose r otation is controlled by a specially designed brushless motor with a hollow shaft, mounted directly in the axis. The system, with Moog or Baumüller components, ensures torque and s peed for a precise, fast and perfectly controlled movement in acceleration and braking, and is equipped with an excellent mould-saving type control. The moving platen is supported by recirculating ball guides, guaranteeing mould protection.

The coupling between the electric motor and the ball /satellite rollers screw, optimizes the mechanical operation of the system, in order to ensure the highest efficiency and reliability.

For small or medium-sized plants, MULTIPOWER I-PET i s the perfect solution, combining high performance and productivity, with low costs and energy savings.
For moulding preforms, the basic plant consists of a MULTIPOWER HE, with a specific injection unit for PET, and a specific ejection system able to provide high force in the first stretch of extraction, and high speed for the remainder of the movement. This configuration is accompanied by a plant for the processing of PET material, and for drying the m ould area. Dedicated connections for the cooling system c omplete the basic equipment.
