Dieses Jahr findet MEDICA 2022, die weltweit führende Informations- und Kommunikationsplattform für die Medizintechnik- und Zulieferindustrie, vom 14. Bis zum 17. November in Düsseldorf statt.
Anlässlich der Veranstaltung hat die Italian Trade Agency (ITA) eine italienische Gemeinschaftsbeteiligung von 44 Unternehmen auf einer 450 m² großen ITALIA-Fläche organisiert (Halle 15, Stände J32, H32, G32, F32, E32). Zur Unterstützung italienischer Unternehmen wird ein ITA-Informationsstand eingerichtet.
Insgesamt werden rund 5.332 Aussteller vertreten sein, davon 863 aus Deutschland, 696 aus China und 437 aus den USA. Italien belegt mit 371 Unternehmen den vierten Platz unter den Ausstellerländern.
Der italienische Markt für Medizinprodukte zählt 4.546 Unternehmen (2.523 Produktionsunternehmen, 1.643 Vertriebs- und 380 Dienstleistungsunternehmen), die 112.534 Personen beschäftigen, wobei die KMU stark überwiegen (94 %).
Mit Tausenden von Unternehmen in 13 Hauptsektoren weist der Sektor ein hohes Maß an Markt- und Produktdifferenzierung auf, was für die Entwicklung des Gesundheitswesens und der italienischen Wirtschaft von grundlegender Bedeutung ist.
Im Export und auf dem Inlandsmarkt erwirtschaftet er rund 16,2 Milliarden Euro. Im Jahr 2020 gehörten die USA, Frankreich und Deutschland zu den wichtigsten Exportmärkten, während die wichtigsten Importländer Deutschland, die Niederlande und China waren. Die Einfuhren in Höhe von 8,4 Milliarden Euro überstiegen den Ausfuhrwert von 5,4 Milliarden Euro.
Von Januar bis Juni 2021 beliefen sich die deutschen Ausfuhren nach Italien auf insgesamt 36,9 Mrd. EUR, ein Anstieg um 34,2 % gegenüber dem Zeitraum von Januar bis Juni 2020 (28,9 Mrd. EUR). Gleichzeitig stiegen die italienischen Exporte nach Deutschland von 25,6 Mrd. EUR im Zeitraum Januar bis Juni 2020 auf 31,9 Mrd. EUR im gleichen Zeitraum 2021 (+ 28 %).

This year, the world's leading information and communication platform for the medical technology and supplier industry MEDICA 2022 will take place from November 14 to November 17 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

In 2020, the main export markets included the United States, France and Germany, while the main import countries were Germany, the Netherlands and China. Imports of 8.4 billion euros exceeded the export value of 5.4 billion euros.
From January to June 2021, German exports to Italy totaled EUR 36.9 billion, an increase of 34.2% compared to the period from January to June 2020 (EUR 28.9 billion). At the same time, Italian exports to Germany increased from EUR 25.6 billion in January-June 2020 to EUR 31.9 billion in the same period of 2021 (+ 28%).
