GIFA, which will be held in Düsseldorf from June 12 to 16, 2023, will provide the almost complete world range in the areas of foundry and melting plants, refractory technology, plants and machinery for mold and core production, molding materials and molding supplies, model and mold making, control technology and automation, environmental protection and waste disposal as well as information technologies. The trade show is accompanied by a diverse supporting program with numerous seminars, international congresses, symposia and lecture series.
ICE- the Agency for Foreign Promotion and Internationalisation of Italian companies, in cooperation with AMAFOND, organized an Italian group exhibition for 41 companies on an area of about 1310 square meters in the following halls:
Hall 11 - Stand A24 to B36-1 (with 16 companies)
Hall 16 - Stand E11 to G24-03 (with 25 companies).
Foundry products are still in demand in most sectors of German industry, especially in the automotive and construction industries. Most of the industry's turnover (which has been increasing in recent years) depends on trade within and outside Europe. Thanks to its leadership in terms of innovation and quality, the German foundry industry has for years played an important role in European and global competition. For Italy, Germany is an important export market for the sector, in particular for certain product categories such as converters, casting buckets, ingot moulds and casting machines for metallurgy, steelworks or foundries, for which Italy is the world's leading exporter to Germany.

Die GIFA, die vom 12. bis 16. Juni 2023 in Düsseldorf stattfindet, bietet das nahezu komplette Weltangebot in den Bereichen Gießerei- und Schmelzanlagen, Feuerfesttechnik, Anlagen und Maschinen für die Form- und Kernherstellung, Formstoffe und Formteilzubehör, Modell- und Formenbau, Steuerungstechnik und Automatisierung, Umweltschutz und Entsorgung sowie Informationstechnologien. Begleitet wird die Messe von einem vielfältigen Rahmenprogramm mit zahlreichen Seminaren, internationalen Kongressen, Symposien und Vortragsreihen.
ICE- die Agentur für Auslandsförderung und Internationalisierung italienischer Unternehmen, organisierte in Zusammenarbeit mit AMAFOND eine italienische Gruppenausstellung für 41 Unternehmen auf einer Fläche von rund 1310 Quadratmetern in den folgenden Hallen:

Der größte Teil des Umsatzes der Branche (der in den letzten Jahren gestiegen ist) hängt vom Handel innerhalb und außerhalb Europas ab. Dank ihrer Innovations- und Qualitätsführerschaft spielt die deutsche Gießereiindustrie seit Jahren eine ganz besondere Rolle im europäischen und globalen Wettbewerb. Für Italien ist Deutschland ein wichtiger Exportmarkt für die Branche, insbesondere für bestimmte Produktkategorien wie Konverter, Gießlöffel, Kokillen und Gießmaschinen für die Metallurgie, Stahlwerke oder Gießereien, bei denen Italien weltweit der größte Exporteur nach Deutschland ist.
