The ICE Agency has signed a collaboration agreement with MM Mega Market, a wholesale marketplace dedicated to the F&B and consumer goods, which allows Vietnamese retailers to purchase Made in Italy products. MM Mega Market (abbreviated MM) is the main Vietnamese wholesaler targeting professional and retail customers.

MM Mega Market has expanded over time, reaching 21 wholesale centers and supermarkets nationwide, along with 6 supply and distribution stations, 8 delivery warehouses (B2B), and 2 central distribution warehouses. It also has a B2B e-commerce website, MM Pro, dedicated to business clients, such as hotels, restaurants, and offices, offering them the possibility to place direct online orders on a regular basis.

MM Mall, a section of MM Pro, is designed to connect suppliers and professional customers through a platform that offers a greater variety of products and flexible offers, with the goal of simplifying the growth of B2B online sales, reducing marketing costs, increasing the value and volume of orders, and automating commercial processes. MM Mall involves over 20,000 professional customers and is an exclusive channel for digital wholesale trade in Vietnam.

The Project at a glanceĀ and Key Benefits

Under the Pact for Export, which recognizes e-commerce as one of the pillars of internationalization, the agreement between the ICE Agency and MM Mega Market aims to boost the supply of Made in Italy products with the involvement of 20 Italian companies that will enter the marketplace as retailers.

The project is structured around the following points:

  • Onboarding, technical support, and training: MM will provide the following for all Italian companies admitted to the project:

    • English-language support for onboarding onto the e-commerce website;

    • Consulting and training in English related to the configuration and management of accounts on MM Pro and MM Mall;

  • Creation of the Made in Italy "showcase" on MM Pro: Selected Italian companies will be included within the showcase dedicated to Made in Italy on MM Pro to benefit from the promotional activities carried out by the ICE Agency in its favor;

  • Promotional activities supporting the initiative funded by the ICE Agency: Online marketing and advertising campaigns for 15 months fully funded by the ICE Agency. Specifically: banners, seller pages, and promotions on specific sections of MM Pro and MM Mall; social campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn; e-mail marketing.
