Tessilmare was founded in 1947 by Rezzonico family and, as of today, three generations have been at the helm of the company.
Tessilmare’s team works to create stunning nautical accessories by coupling mechanics and nautical expertise.
The company’s factory was first well-known for its nautical fabrics, which are still produced by the company and known to resist sun, salt and water. After seven decades in business, Tessilmare continues to offer the latest and most sun-tops, covers, fender profiles, upholstery accessories, fabrics and more, by offering on most of them a LIFE-TIME WARRANTY.
With BINOX, SPHAERA, RADIAL, BINO et BUMPER profiles, nautical consumers have a full range of versatile, cost-effective profiles. Each Patented rub rail offers its own unique feature.
BINOX was developed specifically for Mega Yachts : it is the first S/S fender profile without screws.
It is produced in different sizes: 25, 35, 50 and 65 mm.
It is made of a PVC base and a 316 L S/S insert component (of 3 Mt. length).
The PVC base is supplied in a custom cut reel of your required length : we can supply a reel of hundreds meters and you cut it by yourself according to you needs OR we can supply kits for each boat of yours. It can be with or without the lip which normally covers the gap between deck and hull.
The S/S bars are pressure fitted onto the PVC base.
This means that you won’t see any unsightly screws on the S/S surface.
Specific junctions are available to connect three-meter lengths of the S/S.
SPHAERA combines high technical performance with quality and design. Its Duralene core guarantees its adaptability to the boat hull. The patented process prevents deformation while allowing the fender to bend at different angles with minimal effort. The PVC base is supplied in coils at the required length. A 316 L S/S outer layer is co-extruded with a shock-proof vinyl chloride core to make a lightweight yet durable system as opposed to traditional half-round stainless profiles. S/S top caps cover any gaps at the joints while keeping bars perfectly aligned. S/S end caps provide an eye-catching finishing touch to the boat.
RADIAL profile, in PVC, can be cold fitted in just few steps and takes less 70% of the installation time versus competitors. No special tools are required since the track bends in all boat directions for quick installation. The soft seamless insert is supplied in coils to avoid waste. Its joint and end caps are available in PVC and S/S.
BINO profile, in PVC, is easy to bend and conceals screws and seams. It can be easily bent thanks to our patented two pieces design and custom cut. A pre-drilled S/S bar allows easy installation of the base profile and the top side has to be pressure fixed. Thanks to its flexibility, it can be used in docks, piers, military boats, work boats and pleasure boats.
With BUMPER profile consumers get a lightweight frame with unparalleled strength. With a triple structured PVC composition and wide inner air gaps, it creates a never-before-seen impact absorption. Its modularity makes it easy to install. The two profile bases are fixed to the hull with a pre-drilled S/S bar and the top profile is easily fitted with pressure. It was designed for yachts, military boats, tenders, docks, piers and work boats.
MARINE FABRICS are both used by us for Tessilmare’s own production line and sold directly as raw materials. The high tech fabrics are made of 100% Italian polyester fibers. The fabrics go through a total waterproofing process and can grant lightness and strength, dimension stability, UV strength, abrasion resistance, versatility, fireproofing and chemical resistance.
Tessilmare has two branches: one in Italy, where production occurs, and another one in Deerfield Beach USA. All of our products are available in Italy and the U.S.
