THERE are many areas in the country that may host unexplored gas fields, the Department of Energy (DoE) said in a recent forum. Energy Undersecretary Sandy Sales said during a news forum during the weekend that the country is filled with many potential gas fields, which can help keep up with the country's energy needs. This is the reason Sales called on investors to tap the country's oil and gas power sources. "There are many other places, not just Malampaya, that have potential for a huge gas deposit," Sales said in Filipino.
