The Management Board of the Łódź Special Economic Zone has issued a decision on providing support to Wielton Reefer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wielton, during the implementation of its project in Bełchatów, where Wielton Reefer is to build a new plant producing refrigerated trailers and selected components for other types of trailers, including walls and roofs for vans. According to the terms and conditions specified in the decision, Wielton Reefer is obliged to incur eligible costs in the total amount of PLN80m, of which PLN60.84m by 31 December 2028 and PLN19.16m by 31 December 2030. The company is also expected to create at least 100 new jobs by 31 December 2025 and maintain such a number of jobs until 31 December 2027. (ICE VARSAVIA)
