The Indonesian ceramics industry is experiencing a decline in utilization after two years of expansion due to the industry's cheap gas price policy. According to the Indonesian Ceramics Association (Asaki), the industry's utilization reached 75% in the first quarter of 2023, down from 78% in the previous year.
