Baku, Astana sign 10 documents to expand cooperationBaku and Astana signed 10 documents aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation on Thursday.The documents were signed following negotiations between the prime ministers of the two countries Ali Asadov and Alikhan Smailov, the Azerbaijani Cabinet said in a statement.In particular, the sides signed: a shareholders’ agreement between AzerTelekom LLC and Kazakhtelecom State Corporation;  basic principles agreement on the establishment and operation of a JV between Azerbaijan’s , Kazakhstan’s and Georgia’s railway companies; a memorandum on strategic cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and National Company JSC KazMunayGas on transit of Kazakh oil through the territory of Azerbaijan.In addition, memorandums of understanding on cooperation in tourism, sports, culture; action plan for 2023-2024 on cooperation in the field of labor, employment and social protection of the population; protocol between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan were signed.The sides also signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan aimed at expanding  joint activities in the field of transport and digitalization as part of the Middle Corridor; a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan on the supply of ships and railway locomotives.
