The National Capital Authority (OIKN) is promoting outreach and assistance for local business actors in Nusantara IKN to help the community stay informed about the IKN's growing operations. The community participated in the "Socialization and Assistance of IKM (small and medium industries)/UKM (small and medium enterprises)" event at Zero Point of the Archipelago, PPU, East Kalimantan, last Sunday morning. Participants received guidance on entering retail and export markets, as well as opportunities to showcase their products. The five best local products will be showcased at the Jakarta expo. OIKN plans to carry out halal certification and open a halal center at IKN.The organization will also prepare a place for local business actors to sell products and invite the audience to make it lively. Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono emphasized the importance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as the pillars of the archipelago's economy. He promised training and pathways for MSMEs to penetrate to the national level and even export. In PP No. 12 of 2023, the government has prepared incentives and ease of doing business in IKN, including a final income tax of 0%.
