According to the initial data released by the National Bank of Poland (NBP), in 2022 the value of foreign direct investments rose by PLN4.5bn (3.8 percent) to PLN118.7bn, with investors based in Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands and France being the most active. A positive picture of 2022 has also been presented by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAiH), according to which last year foreign companies invested more than EUR3.7bn, i.e. ca. PLN16.4bn, in Poland with the PAiH’s support. This is EUR200m (ca. PLN880m) more than in 2021 and EUR1bn (ca. PLN4.4bn) more than in 2020. (ICE VARSAVIA)
