The report, released by the UN country team, commends the establishment of the Sustainable Development Ministry and the upcoming second Voluntary National Review to be presented at the UN High-Level Political Forum. Bahrain's economy showed positive signs of recovery, with a GDP growth of 4.9% in 2022, driven by non-oil sectors and a diversifying economic structure. The report also mentions efforts in climate change mitigation, animal disease eradication, and the protection of foreign workers.
