ASEN VASILEV: THERE MAY BE AN INCREASE IN THE MINIMUM WAGE if Parliament decides

The draft budget for 2023 does not foresee an increase in the minimum wage of BGN 780, but there may be an increase if the parliament considers something different and takes from other expenses. This comment was made by the Minister of Finance Asen Vassilev at a briefing when presenting the parameters of the financial law with the estimates of the Ministry of Finance."We propose a draft budget with a deficit on an accrued basis of 3%, on a cash basis - 2.5%. The difference comes from the planned second payment under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan," he reminded, after last night the Ministry of Finance published the plan for the country 's finances .The minister specified that the Ministry of Finance corrected the version of the official government of Galab Donev so that the budget deficit was 3%, and the expenses were cut by BGN 3.6 billion - mainly for maintenance and for capital expenses, on unstarted projects.
