The Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has published a report on the state of the postal market in 2022, which shows that last year Polish consumers shipped 1.956 billion shipments, parcels and letters, which represents an increase by barely 1.1 percent compared to 2021. However, the courier sector can be pleased as it continued to grow at a double-digit pace. The report also shows that Poland had the highest number of parcel lockers per resident among the countries of Europe. According to the data, in 2022 there were 26,700 parcel lockers in Poland, of which 19,300 were operated by InPost, the leader in the segment of out-of-home deliveries. (ICE VARSAVIA)
