The German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GBCCI) is organising a forum on "Near-shoring and diversification back to EU" at the International Congress Centre Burgas from 9:00 am on Thursday, the chamber said. The aim is to promote Bulgaria as an attractive destination for doing business and to expand bilateral Bulgarian-German economic relations.In this international and European context, Bulgaria can benefit from the current business reorientation processes and it is important to show partners its potential to join European supply chains, the chamber said. The event will also present the experience of large German companies that are successfully developing their business in the country.The forum will also touch upon some aspects related to the development of innovation, technology and diversification.Among the guests of the event will be the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Irina Shtonova, German Ambassador Irene Plank and GBCCI President Tim Kurth, high-ranking representatives of politics and business. The patron of the forum is the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, and BTA is a media partner of the event. (ICE SOFIA)
