The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Bulgaria-North Macedonia Programme organizes information days and a forum for the search of partners for the open call for investment projects under the greener border region priority of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program (CBCP) 2021-2027, MIA news agency said Wednesday.The invitation is linked to a specific objective - "improving the protection and conservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the urban environment, and reducing all forms of pollution". It aims to identify project proposals that will contribute to the development of green infrastructure in urban and suburban areas. The results are expected to have a positive impact on people's health and well-being, support the green economy, create jobs and improve biodiversity.The Secretariat specified that the total amount foreseen for the current invitation for investment projects is EUR 4,561,091.The organized events aim to connect the Managing Authority, the National Authority, the Joint Secretariat and potential applicants and to present the main rules of the open call for investment projects under the greener border region priority under the CBCP. The events are planned for July 4 in Sandanski, Bulgaria, and July 11 in Kocani, Republic of North Macedonia. (ICE SOFIA)
