The Auchan retail chain has opened its first fully autonomous store in Warsaw under the Auchan GO logo, following trials conducted in France. Auchan plans to open 40 such stores over the next several years. At Auchan GO, customers will be able to choose from a range of more than 1,000 products, including snacks, sandwiches, drinks, dairy, cheese or frozen foods. Similar plans are pursued by other retailers too, including Żabka, which opened its Żabka Nano autonomous store on the premises of the Provincial Hospital in Poznań. (ICE VARSAVIA)
