Burgas, on the Black Sea - Bulgaria exports more to Germany than it imports since last year, said Ambassador Irene Plank at the "Near-shoring and diversification back to EU" forum in Burgas. “Germany will fully support Bulgaria's entry into the Schengen area. We would like to support our partners in fulfilling all the criteria for joining the euro area because only in this way can we have even better foreign trade relations,” the German Ambassador to Bulgaria said in Burgas. "The result we achieved last year in the foreign trade relations between Germany and Bulgaria was pivotal. Since last year Bulgaria has been exporting more to Germany than it imports. This is a positive result that we want to maintain," Plank added. She thanked the GermanBulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Burgas Municipality for the initiative to hold an improved bilateral forum. "We already know what the challenges before the politics and economy of Europe.
