Israel’s defence exports reached a new peak in 2022, with new contracts worth $12.5 billion, the Minister of Defence has announced. The figure keeps Israel in the top ten countries for defence exports. Between 75% and 80% of Israel’s defence production is for export. Israel’s defence exports climbed 30% from $8.55 billion in 2020 to $11.3 billion in 2021, and by a further 10% in 2022. The 2022 climb is attributed to the increasing defence needs of European countries, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  (ICE TEL AVIV)
