Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing, one of Israel’s largest supermarket chains, announced that it is seeking to tie up with an international supermarket chain, possibly French retail group Auchan. Rami Levy filed the statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, The announcement comes as Israel’s largest supermarket chains are facing increased competition with the entry of French supermarket chain Carrefour and 7-Eleven to Israel.  (ICE TEL AVIV)
