The Lombok Block Solution Factory (BSL) recycles plastic waste into plastic bricks in Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah said NTB has accomplished much in helping industrialization. "The operation of a plastic recycling factory in collaboration with the NTB Provincial Government and PT Block Solutions will certainly make NTB a model area for other regions and even the world," Zulkieflimansyah wrote to Mataram journalists on Wednesday. He said the BSL factory will help NTB. This facility will reduce plastic waste, boost the economy, and make the Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) area an industrial ecotourism destination in Indonesia. "We really appreciate the cooperation and support of PT Block Solutions, which chose NTB to build a factory with extraordinary innovation," he said. Block Solutions Indonesia Director Jimmy Hutasoit said the NTB facility would use renewable technology first. This mill makes 8-9 tons of plastic bricks daily. 2 tons of plastic bricks build a 6x6 dwelling. "Thank you to the NTB Provincial Government for supporting the construction of a factory in Lombok," he remarked. The NTB Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) in Banyumulek, West Lombok, houses this factory.
