Omar Salameh, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation’s spokesperson, said, on Sunday that three consortia are still eligible to implement the national water carrier project out of five, after the withdrawal of one coalition and another was found to be unsuitable. Salameh said, in an interview with "Al Mamlaka" TV, that one of the main coalitions withdrew from submitting technical and financial offers for the project, while the last coalition did not "conform to the required specifications" to carry out the national project.
