PT Angkasa Pura I and its subsidiary, PT Angkasa Pura Properti (APP), have built a solar power plant panel (PLTS) at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang City. The PLTS, consisting of 186 units of Solar PV Modules with a capacity of 100 kWp, will be installed on the canopy roof of the administrative building and the Main Power House (MPH) Building. The development work is expected to be completed in December 2023, and the PLTS will supply electricity to several buildings in the Semarang General Ahmad Yani International Airport area. The PLTS will be managed by APP, which already has an electric power support services business license (IUJPTL). The construction of PLTS further strengthens the eco airport concept at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport, which supports environmentally friendly concepts such as LED lights, sleep mode features on lifts, elevators, and travelators.
