Bali's "Island of Gods" will charge tourists Rp 150,000 (US$10) to maintain its culture starting next year, officials said Wednesday. He said foreign tourists entering Bali from abroad or elsewhere in Indonesia must pay the fee electronically. Domestic Indonesian tourists will not be charged. After enforcing a zero-tolerance policy, Bali saw almost 2 million tourists last year. Koster said authorities did not expect the increased charge to dissuade visitors. It's fine.
