According to the latest data from the Register of Debtors kept by the InfoMonitor economic information bureau, over a 12-month period from the end of May 2022 companies’ debt towards financial institutions and other businesses grew by 8.4 % (ca. PLN3.3bn) to PLN41.5bn. The data also show that most of this debt is reported by commercial, manufacturing and transport companies as well as companies involved in professional, scientific, and technical activities or providing accommodation and catering services.
