KAZAKHSTAN-RUSSIA-BITUMEN-SUPPLY

Moscow and Astana agreed to triple supply of Russian bitumen to KazakhstanRussia agreed to triple the supply of road bitumen to Kazakhstan from 100,000 to 300,000 tonnes per year, the Kazakh Ministry of Energy said.On July 19, at a meeting in Moscow,  Kazkah Deputy Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov and Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin signed a protocol amending the list of petroleum products banned for export to Kazakhstan, and from Kazakhstan to third countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union.  The export restrictions were signed on May 6, 2019."The amendments are aimed to increase the supply of road bitumen from 100,000 to 300,00 tonnes per year from the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan," according to the Ministry.Kazakhstan has a ban valid until the end of 2024 on the export of petroleum products, including oil bitumen.
