THE NFA ALSO ISSUES FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATES FOR THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF EXPORTS

The National Food Agency (NFA) is committed to ensuring food safety standards for export commodities, particularly those that are export commodities. This is done through the issuing of Health Certificates (HC) and Container House Registrations to prevent disruptions in the export process. The central government, regional governments, and food chain organizers must work together to ensure food safety, according to Law 18/2012 Concerning Food, which regulates the NFA. If the exportation process is disrupted, it will have a chain effect on upstream exporters, such as farmers. To maintain product competitiveness, the NFA is open to complaints and input from various parties, aiming to strengthen HC services and  Container House RegistrationsIn 2022, the NFA issued 620 Health Certificates for commodities like nutmeg, coffee, pepper, and areca nuts, with a cumulative export value of US$65.67 million. The NFA also registered packaging houses for mangosteen, salak, dragon fruit, pineapple, and porang exported to China, accounting for 41% of Indonesia's total fruit exports in 2022.Link di fonte: https://www.antaranews.com/berita/3644793/nfa-turut-terbitkan-sertifikat-keamanan-pangan-demi-kelancaran-ekspor (ICE GIACARTA)
