Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, inaugurated Thursday the 1st phase of pumping and drawing water project from Tal al-Sawan to Tal Kurdi station.  The project provides the facilities of Adra industrial city, Damascus countryside, with 12,000 cubic meters of water per day.  In a statement to reporters, Arnous underscored the importance of this vital project in securing water for industrial facilities in Adra industrial city, as 16 wells were drilled to secure 12,000 cubic meters per day, in addition to a number of reservoirs and Electric power transmission plants.  Arnous added that the project serves the industrialists, noting that the government exerts every effort to secure a suitable work environment for the industrialists, as they are real partners in the production process.
