E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS RAT RACE FORCES FIRMS TO DIVERSIFY

As offline stores reopened, analysts expected Indonesian e-commerce to rise. This depends on e-commerce firms' cooperation with logistics and delivery providers. This year, Redseer, a management consulting firm, anticipates e-commerce package volumes to expand nationwide due to a shift in customer demand for categories with lower average order value but higher volume, such as fashion, beauty, and personal care. Depending on their e-commerce ties, players' influence varies. Larger players with close ties to TikTok Shop and leading e-commerce incumbents may do better than smaller or niche players.Due to the post-pandemic recovery of offline shopping, Momentum Works, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, expects e-commerce parcel volumes to expand somewhat this year. Shopee Xpress and Lazada's LEL Express may decrease parcel volume for some third-party logistics (3PL) businesses. 3PLs must move away from e-commerce logistics, which offers little difference. They could deal with brands, corporations, social commerce, or freight forwarding.Link di fonte: https://www.thejakartapost.com/culture/2023/05/10/musk-says-twitter-to-soon-allow-calls-encrypted-messaging-.html (ICE GIACARTA)
