PERTAMINA BUILDS THE JAKARTA INTEGRATED GREEN TERMINAL IN KALIBARU, NORTH JAKART

Pertamina is set to build the Jakarta Integrated Green Terminal in Kalibaru, North Jakarta, which will be larger and more modern than the Plumpang Fuel Oil Integrated Terminal (TBBM). The terminal will support national energy security and accommodate various fuels, including LPG, BBM, gasoline, and biodiesel. It will also accommodate LNG, CPO, UCO, petrochemicals, and hydrogen, which are expected to grow in demand in 2030. Pertamina has given a mandate to PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) to work on and develop the terminal. The terminal is planned to be built in an area developed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) in the Kalibaru area of North Jakarta, with a storage capacity of up to 6 million barrels. The construction is based on calculations of national energy demand and could become a gateway for the energy trade ecosystem or energy trading through the Singapore-Indonesia corridor. The terminal is a pioneer in incorporating ESG factors and carbon-neutral concepts and will implement a digital system for modern and efficient management. Pertamina's construction supports government programs related to achieving net zero emissions and promotes sustainability and environmental friendliness.Link di fonte: https://www.antaranews.com/berita/3672768/pertamina-bangun-jakarta-integrated-green-terminal-di-kalibaru-jakut (ICE GIACARTA)
