The government has transferred state equity participation (PMN) for the 2022 fiscal year from PT Waskita Karya Tbk to PT Hutama Karya (Persero). The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has held meetings with various parties, including the Ministry of Finance, to discuss the transfer. BUMN will provide PMN based on existing projects, not at the corporate level, to ensure funds are used according to the project's needs. The change in policy for granting PNM was made to avoid fraud in the company. BUMN Minister Erick Thohir stated that the cancellation of the PMN had an impact on Waskita Karya's work plan, but he remains committed to improving financial performance and coordinating with stakeholders to find alternative funding sources for project completion. The government originally planned to inject IDR 3 trillion of PMN funds into Waskita this year, but the funds were returned to the state general treasury account and the rights issue process was not continued. Waskita will also prepare strategic steps for completing two toll roads using PMN for the 2022 fiscal year. The merger process between BUMN Karya, Hutama Karya, and Waskita Karya Tbk, PT. PP (Persero) Tbk, and PT.
