The Indonesian Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Hadi Tjahjanto, has emphasized the importance of ease of location permits, or Suitability of Spatial Utilization Activities (KKPR), in attracting investors to invest in the country. He emphasized the need for the government to provide a "red carpet" for investors by facilitating regulations. KKPR is connected to efforts to accelerate the completion of Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR) in the regions. The government has a target of 2,000 RDTRs throughout Indonesia and 183 RDTRs connected to the Online Single Submission (OSS) system.The 2023 State General Treasurer Budget has adjusted the number of locations for RDTR preparation, with 82 locations in 69 regencies/cities based on Ministry Finance approval. The additional budget of IDR 130.4 billion is allocated for 77 RDTRs and 5 RDTRs in State Border Areas (KPN). However, the target of 2,000 RDTRs is being completed in stages, with 82 RDTRs expected to be completed in approximately three months. Hadi Tjahjanto emphasized the importance of cooperation between ministries/institutions and assistance from the Association of Planners Experts.
