POLAND’S ECONOMY TOOK A HARDER HIT THAN EXPECTED
Poland’s GDP fell in the second quarter by 0.5% year-on-year, according to a quick estimate by the Central Statistical Office. Analysts had expected a decline of 0.2%. In their comments, they point out that “consumer recession” is weighing on the results. (ICE VARSAVIA)
