PT Kilang Pertamina International (KPI) has participated in the 2023 United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Global Leader Summit forum in New York, US, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and the implementation of environment, social, and governance (ESG) to support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) 2030. The company's independent energy village program, Clean Energy for Life, was registered as an increase in the company's CSR and ESG publications. The event was attended by 677 innovators from various countries, including 69 from Indonesia, who are members and sub-members of the Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN). PT KPI collaborates to provide clean energy through new and renewable energy, contributing to better lives, education, and prosperous communities. The company has developed a hybrid power plant (PLTH) in a remote hamlet in Central Java, combining solar and wind energy for communal use.
