Lithuania's industrial production totaled 23.2 billion euros at current prices in January-August 2023, falling by 6.6 percent year-on-year at constant prices, official statistics showed on Friday.In August alone, the country's industrial output amounted to 3 billion euros, up by 3.8 percent compared to July, but down by 6.7 percent from a year ago, according to the State Data Agency.Last month, Lithuania's manufacturing output shrank by 2.8 percent in year-on-year terms, but grew by 3.5 percent on a month-on-month basis. Excluding refined petroleum products, it declined by 2.7 percent compared to a year ago, but rose by 3.7 percent from July.The country's manufacturing output for the eight months contracted by 4.8 percent year-on-year (down 6.4 percent excluding refined petroleum products).
