Retail trade in Kazakhstan grows 7.2% in Jan- Sept 2023Kazakhstan's retail trade grew 7.2% year-on-year to 13.122 trillion tenge in January-September 2023, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said in a statement.Trade enterprises boosted sales 10.7% year-on-year to 8.937 trillion in the reporting period.Total inventories of trade enterprises were 1.539 billion tenge as on October 1, 2023, which is enough to last for 71 trading days.Foodstuffs accounted for 32.3% of all trading volume in January-September 2023, and non-food products for 67.7%.
