Frigo Logistics, a logistics operator controlled by Japan’s Nichirei Corporation, is in the process of investing PLN200m in Poland, including in the construction of a logistics facility in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and the expansion of the distribution centre in Żnin. Frigo Logistics’ CEO Kris Yerbruggen notes that the company will also be rolling out photovoltaic installations and filling stations as the operator is poised to expand its fleet of vehicles. Yerbruggen also notes that apart from regulator trucks, the company will also buy tank trucks as it is increasingly involved in the supply of food products other than frozen food, including wine, beer or liquid chocolate.
