Wrocław Airport has announced a tender procedure for the expansion and modernisation of the airside, including the construction of a new taxiway and apron. The project will be worth PLN350m, with half of this amount to be covered by EU funds. Commenting on the tender, Wrocław Airport’s CEO Cezary Pacamaj has noted that thanks to Poland’s largest investment in the airside zone, Wrocław Airport will be able to shorten the waiting time for planes to take off and land, which will translate into an increase in the airport’s capacity.
