The newly released study “GfK Purchasing Power Europe 2023” shows that Poland has an average per capita purchasing power of EUR10,903 in 2023, which puts the country at slightly more than 38 percent below the European average, gaining one place to 29th in comparison with the other 41 countries. The study also shows that the district ranking in Poland is led by the capital city of Warsaw, where purchasing power is estimated at EUR17,980 per capita, which is almost 65 percent above the national average. Warsaw is followed by such cities as Sopot, Wrocław, Katowice, Poznań and Cracow. (ICE VARSAVIA)
